
Child Abuse Pediatricians will be added to the list for any of the following actions:

Not following AAP Recommended Best Practices:
Not bothering to record measurements
Not contacting family pediatrician -
Promoting false or misleading claims – for example, using the phrase “Those Who Don’t Cruise Don’t Bruise” or asserting that non‑mobile children cannot sustain accidental bruises.

Misrepresenting research – distorting or selectively citing studies to support unfounded abuse allegations.

Pattern of overturned accusations – repeatedly making child maltreatment allegations that are later rejected by a jury.

Unfounded abuse claims – making accusations of child maltreatment later determined to be unfounded by CPS, DCYF, or equivalent agencies.

Perjury or false testimony – knowingly providing false or misleading testimony in legal proceedings.

Inaccurate or unethical reporting – submitting reports with significant errors, omissions, or misleading information.
